Commercial real estate's use of technology is growing exponentially as new developments push the boundaries of what is possible. Generative artificial intelligence is just one example of this level of innovation and its adoption in the CRE community.

By harnessing big data, predictive analytics and smart mobility, to name a few advanced technologies, CRE professionals are furthering practices, including digital lease transactions, virtual apartment tours, communication applications, flexible payment options, crowdfunding platforms, telehealth services, e-commerce fulfillment center tools and more.

Tenants are also experiencing the benefits of these developments as well, such as the use of facial recognition by multifamily landlords that provides access to garages and interior doors.

It has been years since commercial real estate shed its inhibitions around using technology. Now, with the industry eager to adopt these advancements, we can expect to see them used more and more in everyday interactions with end-users.
